Plain terms for a small business selling a PDF. If something here is unclear, write to us and ask.

Who you are buying from

Selah Journal Co., publisher of Stronger Together and the free conversation guide, at selahjournalco.com.

TODO(owner): registered legal entity name, jurisdiction of registration, and postal address.

What you are buying

Stronger Together is a digital PDF: a 30-day guided journal containing both Her Journal and His Journal. It is a file, not a printed book, and nothing is shipped to you. The price is $30, once, and there is no subscription and no recurring charge of any kind.

How it reaches you

Payment is taken by Stripe. Immediately afterwards we email you a download link, which stays valid for 7 days. Save the file somewhere you will find it again. If the link expires, or the email goes missing, reply to it or write to hello@selahjournalco.com and we will send a fresh one at no charge.

The 30-day promise

Try it for 30 days. If it has not started something, reply to your download email within 30 days of buying and we will refund every dollar. No questions, and no awkwardness.

The journal is yours to keep either way. We are not going to ask you to delete a file, and we would not be able to check if we did.

What you may do with it

• Print it as many times as you like, for you and your spouse, at home or at a print shop.
• Print it twice so you each have your own copy. Many couples do.
• Print it again next year, or in ten years.

What you may not do with it

• Resell it, or sell printed copies of it.
• Post the file publicly, or share the download link outside your own household.
• Reproduce it for a group, a class, a small group, or a congregation without asking us first. Ask, and the answer is usually yes.

You are buying a personal licence to use the journal in your own marriage. We keep the copyright in the text and the design.

The free guide

The free conversation guide is free, and the same rules about sharing apply: send someone the sign-up page rather than the file, so they get their own copy and their own emails.

What this is not

Stronger Together is a journal. It is not therapy, not counselling, not medical advice, and not a substitute for any of them. If you or your spouse are dealing with abuse, addiction, or a crisis, please talk to a qualified professional. A journal is a good thing, but it is not the right thing for every situation, and we would rather say so plainly than sell you something that will not help.

We do not promise a particular outcome in your marriage. What we promise is the journal as described, delivered, and refundable for 30 days.

Availability and changes

We may update the journal, change the price for future buyers, or stop selling it. None of that affects a copy you have already bought, and your download link keeps working.

If we change these terms, the date at the top of this page changes with them. The terms that apply to your purchase are the ones that were on this page on the day you bought.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited to what you paid us. Since the journal is refundable in full for 30 days, that is a promise we can keep rather than a clause to hide behind. Nothing here limits any right you have that cannot legally be limited.

Governing law

TODO(owner): state or country whose law governs these terms, and where disputes are heard.
